DictaWiz Test Channel
Bleeding-edge builds for invited testers. New version drops most days.
This is a separate app from the production DictaWiz.
It installs as DictaWiz-Test.app alongside your regular DictaWiz — neither one touches the other. Use the production app for your real work; this one for testing.

Install
Open the DMG
Double-click latest.dmg after it finishes downloading.
Drag to Applications
Drag DictaWiz-Test.app onto the Applications folder shortcut.
Grant Accessibility permission
Open DictaWiz-Test from Applications. macOS will prompt for Accessibility — that's required for global hotkeys and for pasting transcribed text into other apps.
You're done
The app runs in your menu bar. The About screen shows a TEST badge so you can always tell it apart from production DictaWiz.
Automatic updates
You only ever have to download the DMG once. From then on, DictaWiz-Test checks for updates every 24 hours and prompts you to install the next nightly automatically — nothing for you to do.
You can force a check from About → Check for Updates.
Send feedback
Anything that surprises you is worth a note — crashes, weird AI output, hotkey collisions, UI rough edges, “wait why does it do that?” moments.
Two ways to reach us:
- In-app: About → Report an Issue — goes straight to our queue tagged as a test-channel report.
- Email: support@freevoicereader.com — mention which build number you're on (it's visible in About).
Same privacy promise as production
